Volunteers are the backbone of all that we do here at Stars and Strides Stables. Most of our riders cannot participate without the physical, emotional, and psychological support of our volunteers.  We depend upon the commitment of our volunteers to help facilitate our equine-assisted sessions and provide for the safety and wellbeing of our riders.  It is the relationship between our riders, volunteers, and horses that helps us complete our overall mission.

 

On many occasions, our volunteers have told us that their life has been changed and blessed by the riders and the horses.

Volunteer requirements:  

 

• Desire to serve with compassion and sensitivity

• Volunteers are needed four days a week, Monday-Thursday.  

• The minimum age for volunteering is 14 years old. 

• Volunteers are required to attend an Orientation, 

• If you don’t have horse experience, no worries, we will teach you
